How do I turn on push notifications on the CareFunnels mobile app?

Getting push notifications on your phone means you'll be alerted the moment a new lead reaches out — even when you're away from your desk. Setting this up requires two quick steps: turning on notifications inside CareFunnels, and making sure your phone allows CareFunnels to send you notifications.


Step 1 — Turn on notifications inside CareFunnels

Your notification preferences are set on the desktop version of CareFunnels and apply across both desktop and mobile.

  1. Log in to CareFunnels on your computer.

  2. From the left-hand menu, click Settings.

  3. Click My Profile in the left sidebar.

  4. Click the Notifications tab.

  5. Check the boxes for the notifications you want — at minimum, turn on In-App and SMS for "Notify for all new conversations & messages initiated with the account."

Step 2 — Allow notifications on your phone

Your phone also needs to have notifications enabled for the CareFunnels app. Here's how to check:

iPhone:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.

  2. Scroll down and tap CareFunnels.

  3. Tap Notifications.

  4. Make sure Allow Notifications is turned on.

  5. Choose how you want to be notified — Lock Screen, Notification Center, Banners, and/or sounds.

Android:

  1. Open your phone's Settings app.

  2. Tap Apps (or App Management depending on your phone).

  3. Find and tap CareFunnels.

  4. Tap Notifications.

  5. Make sure notifications are turned on.


Pro tip

Make sure both steps are completed — CareFunnels notifications turned on AND your phone's app notifications allowed. If either one is off, you won't receive push notifications on your phone.


Common questions

I've done both steps but still not getting notifications. What should I try?

  • Make sure you're logged in to the CareFunnels mobile app

  • Try logging out of the app and logging back in

  • Check that your phone isn't in Do Not Disturb mode

  • Make sure your CareFunnels app is updated to the latest version in the App Store or Play Store

Will I get notifications even when the app is closed? Yes — as long as notifications are enabled on both CareFunnels and your phone, you'll receive push notifications even when the app isn't open.

Can I choose which types of notifications come to my phone? Yes. In your CareFunnels notification settings, the SMS column sends alerts to your phone as text messages, while In-App controls notifications within the app itself. Turn on whichever combination works best for you.

Will all my team members get the same notifications? No — each team member sets their own notification preferences under their own profile. Everyone controls what they personally receive.
