Why Aren’t My Instagram Statistics Showing?

If your Instagram posts are publishing but your statistics aren’t showing in CareFunnels, the issue is usually caused by how the account is connected. Instagram analytics only work when your account is connected through Facebook Business, not directly to Instagram.


Common Causes

  • Instagram is connected directly (allows posting, but not analytics).

  • Instagram isn’t properly linked to a Facebook Page.

  • Permissions weren’t granted during setup.


Step 1: Check Your Facebook Business Settings

  1. Go to Facebook Business Settings.

  2. In the left-hand menu, click Accounts → Instagram Accounts.

  3. Make sure your Instagram account is connected to a Facebook Page.


Step 2: Reconnect Instagram in CareFunnels

  1. In CareFunnels, go to Settings → Integrations.

  2. Disconnect your current Instagram account.

  3. Reconnect by logging into the Facebook account that manages the connected IG page.

  4. Grant all permissions during the reconnection process.


Step 3: Wait for Data to Sync

  • Once reconnected, give it a few hours.

  • Go to Social Planner → Statistics to confirm that data is now appearing.

  • Always connect Instagram via Facebook Business for analytics to work.

  • Double-check that the correct Facebook Page is linked to your Instagram account.

  • If statistics still don’t appear after a day, try disconnecting and reconnecting again with full permissions.
